About Me
Hi! I am Alex, a night/mothercraft nurse based in Sydney's Eastern Suburbs. I am a Registered Nurse and Midwife with over 35 years of experience. I have worked in Sydney, Brisbane, London, and Israel. I hold additional qualifications in Child and Family Health nursing and have been certified as an International Board-Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC) since 2004.
I have a particular interest in child development and promoting optimal infant attachment during the First 2000 Days of life. Evidence shows this has positive lifelong impacts on children's long-term health and wellbeing.
As a local Eastern Suburbs resident, I am actively engaged with my community and have connections to various local organisations and support networks. I am also a mum to two wonderful sons, which has given me personal experience of the challenges of new parenthood. My passion is helping new parents manage the early challenges of a new baby through establishing early routines, successful feeding, and create sustainable sleep associations and patterns.
Night nursing allows me to give mums a valuable break from the overnight demands of a little one, offering guidance, reassurance, and education.
